Sophie
“Hello I’m Sophie, and I’ve just been promoted into the role of supervisor for Playtimes Playgroup. I also manage the after school club, here in the playtimes building. I concluded my degree in Early childhood studies with practioner status at Sheffield Hallam university in June of 2006, gaining a 2:2 honours. But I have worked in childcare environments (mainly Clancarty kindergarten) since leaving Kimbolton school, in all available holidays. I also hold a food hygiene certificate.”

Abi
“My name is Abi, and I am the deputy supervisor at Playtimes Playgroup. I have been working at the Playgroup since January 2006, although I have been deputy since March 2006. I have attended the behavioural management course, and I have certificates in Birth to three, first aid, staying safe in the foundation stage, equal opportunities level 1, and Child protection levels 1 and 2. I am due to complete my CACHE level 3 DPP around Easter 2007, and I have a degree in Textile Design.”

Sharan
"I am Sharan , and I am currently the chair of the committee who manage Playtimes playgroup. The committee consists of a group of parents, who make fundamental decisions on the running of playgroup. We are always looking for new people who have a little spare time to attend committee meetings about once every 6 weeks, and are keen to ensure that the Playgroup continues to offer the very best facilities we can, for our children, and support our fantastic staff in the work they do."

Jane                 
“My name is Jane, and I have been working as an assistant at Playtimes Playgroup since October 2005. I have had five years experience of working with a child who has special needs, and I hold a certificate in first aid. I have also attended a behaviour management course.”

Judi
“Hi I’m Judi, and I’ve worked at Playtimes playgroup for a number of years, in the role of assistant. I have just qualified at NVQ level 2, for early years foundation. I am a qualified first aider, and I am qualified to assess the early years foundation stage.”

Paula
“My name is Paula, and I am the administrator at Playtimes Playgroup. I have only just begun to work at Playgroup (March 2007), but I have been attending as a mum for a couple of years, and I’m thoroughly enjoying my new role. I work each day within the building, except Wednesday, so look forward to seeing you all.

“My name is Tracey, and I have been working at Playtimes Playgroup since April 2006. I currently run liturgy classes on Sunday for the under 5’s, I hold a food hygiene certificate, and I have attended a behavioural management course. I am hoping to start my NVQ level 2 soon – so watch this space!!”
